  10. The mid-deck is where the astronauts eat, sleep, wash, and exercise. There is not much room on this deck, so all of the equipment has been designed to take up as little space as possible. 
  11. <p>
  12. The dimensions of the mid-deck living area are 2.7 meters (9 feet) at the front widening to 3.6 meters (12 feet) at the back.  The side walls are 4 meters (13 feet) long.

  14. This small space contains the crew├òs <a href="text">galley</a>, <a href="text">sleeping accommodations</a>, <a href="text">toilet</a>, washing facilities, and  the "exercise area."
